AN ALPINE BACKDROP

Mid-way along the Ibex Trail, you will come across the Cabane de Prafleuri (2,662 m) lodge at the foot of the Rosablanche Mountain, the ideal place for a refreshment break. It is also possible to spend the night here. The lodge is open from March to April and from July to September.

The lodge is a 1.5-hour walk from the crest of the Grande Dixence dam through the Vallon de Prafleuri valley. In winter, there are guided ski skin tours to the Cabane de Prafleuri from Mont Fort, from Siviez, Super-Nendaz, Arolla or Pralong.
