AN ADVENTURE

The landscape surrounding Lake Dix is home to numerous sights that you can discover on the Ibex Trail. With a bit of luck, you might even come across some ibexes.

Trail: approx. 4h (accessible from July to October). There are educational posts along the trail, aimed at families with children (between 6 and -8 years). The guidebook is available at the Grande Dixence information centre and the region’s tourist offices.

Hiking equipment and sturdy footwear recommended.

At a slow pace, the Cabane des Dix is just a three and a half hour hike from the crest of the dam. Please note that mountain walks can be dangerous. We accept no responsibility in the event of an accident.
